Gesture warm-ups from this morning. I’m thinking of doing this regularly, but maybe not as long as this - it does take a lot of paper. Maybe I’ll do it with my tablet? But I’m not comfortable with using it, like, my hands really hurt after using it even for an hour or two. Hmm. Anyway, back to work with the little project I’m doing right now - it’s a short animated film featuring cats and some couch potatoes. Lets-ah go!
Last one from the series of drawings I did yesterday and the day before that. I usually love it when it rains but it’s been different for the past few days - I hear the rain and it howls along with the wind. I don’t know how else to describe it and it’s scary. Still, I’m grateful that even though our city got really affected by the flood, our neighborhood hasn’t been flooded - save for the one time that the nearby creek overflowed a bit.
The brownout lasted for two days and I actually liked the solitude it brought. No Internet connection, no television, no distractions. I just drew and drew and drew by the candlelight until nighttime fell upon us. Also got to play Monopoly again with my family.
Maybe I’ll unplug more often. :)
